This project was a big one and completely custom to the customers needs.
This bedroom was on the same level as the attic so the customer wanted to use some of the attic space to expand the room and include recessed areas of the room within the previous attic space including raising the ceiling height, adding a recessed TV area, cubby’s and a large counter area all built into former attic space.
Here’s a list of what we did in the room:
Re-framed and raised the ceiling
Framed in build in cubby’s for storage througout the room
Framed a large counter area where the former attic door was
Framed a recessed are where the TV could sit
Framed a fairly large recessed closet to the left of the TV with a shelf
Removed old closet and set back further into former attic area to largen room
Installed (2) new windows
Installed recessed lighting in ceiling
Ran new electric for more outlets one behind the tv
